Photoshop automatically closes when trying to open a psd file.

Question

I updated my photoshop(v23.3) today and Now I'm not able to open my PSD files. When I click on PSD files or Drag file into photoshop it closes automatically. What should I do now? Thanks!

Then I am afraid that it may be indicated to use the Cleaner Tool and install completely anew. (If the OS and hardware meet the System Requirements, but I assume you checked that.)

Hey @c.pfaffenbichler thanks for you time buddy.

I have found solution for this, I opened the Preferences of Photoshop, then Performance and uncheck the option to Use Graphics Processor. Once done, I relaunched Photoshop and it helps me out for now. But I don't know it is the right way to solve this issue or not?

What have you done for all-purpose trouble-shooting so far?

Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:
