Photoshop black screen only?

For some reason the app isn't working.

I've uninstalled it and installed it only for the app to open- to a plain black screen.

All the tabs are loaded, but the screen shows nothing.

Any suggestions on what I can do?

What happens when you open an image?

Are you just missing the home screen?

Under preferences/general is "Disable Home Screen" Checked?

Try turning on Legacy Compositing in Preferences > General. Restart Photoshop and see if it works.
