Photoshop can't read .xmp file from Lightroom

Here the problem. I use PS and LR. There is a option on Photoshop called "place linked" that sync the .xmp files wrote by LR and refresh the changes made by LR to the document inside PS. The problem is that i change color on LR and when I turn back to PS the photo just "reset" the colors to the original .raw file and discard all off

the changes made by LR. Can anyone help me?

The problem was solved. I fix it double clicking in the thumbnail of linked photo and hitting "ok" on the CameraRaw another time after open the file (I've tried another several times and different ways to fix it) and the PS did refresh the file again and booom, the problem was solved. Lightroom doesn't write xmp files by default. It stores everything in its central catalog only, inaccessible to other applications.

If you want Lightroom edits to be visible in ACR, you need to "Save Metadata to File" in Lightroom, shortcut ctrl+S. You can also turn this function on permanently in Preferences, but that will slow Lightroom down a bit.

I do not use Lightroom but Lightroom develop module and Adobe ACR Plug-in use the same Adobe Camera Raw Conversion engine. I would think that the Lightroom develop module Image.xmp file should work when the RAW File is open through ACR Plug-in in Photoshop.  Make sure there is an Image.XMP file in the same folder as your Image raw file before you use Photoshop.  Make sure Lightroom created the image.xmp file in the folder.

As I wrote I do not use LR your vide is not in English and your using LR and Photoshop I de not know how the interface with each other....

the .xmp file is in the same folder, in the video I just turn between photoshop and lightroom, pressing ctrl+s to save metadata files on .xmp and the photoshop didn't update the metadata files as well.
