My Photoshop CC 2018 crashes on display resolution: 1920X1080 x 60 hertz ! How do I use my photoshop on this resolution as my machine supports this resolution as it is recommended. when I changed the resolution to your recommended system requirements it works, but i cannot use it as my screen becomes too large and it does not fit at all.

Thanks!

It sound like you are changing a Scaling  setting and you have a display that display 1920x1080px.  Please post your Photoshop CC menu Help>System Info. And Also you Windows  displays settings for all you system's displays.  If your display is a 1K Display  You need to set all scaling settings to 100%.   If you are Running Windows 10 version 1803 or 1809 and Photoshop cc version 19.1 or newer  scaling to 125% may also work.  If you scale yor display 150% or higher Photoshop UI will not fit on you display like you wrote.

Try resetting your Photoshop Preferences, which you can do under the General Tab in Photoshop Preferences.

It does not help.

Assuming your computer has the right system specs: Photoshop system requirements  I suggest you uninstall Photoshop, using the drop-down menu in the Creative Cloud app and run Adobe Cleaner before reinstalling Photoshop: Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

Unfortunately neither crash dump nor windows event log has generated any error report, so I could fix myself. I came to this forum after I have tried all possible troubleshooting. Uninstalled/Reinstalled Photoshop CC 2018, Changed display driver to latest or old did not help. Actually when you click on TRANSFORM SELECTION menu option its just spin the mouse cursor for couple of seconds and closes down the software, that's said... Is there anyway to enforce software to generate crash report.

Do you have any Photoshop crash reports where is Photoshop crashing?

Crash dump does not say anything. As I mentioned it works based on your system requirements setting i.e 1280×800 but my machine works on 1920×1080 which is recommended. I can't change it to your settings because it won't fit on my screen

Hi Urgen,

Not sure if I understand the issue correctly, Photoshop works fine on 1920x1080 resolution. Please update Photoshop to version 20.0.4 via Creative Cloud desktop app and see if it helps.

Also, could you provide some more details about this issue? a screenshot would be helpful for us to review.

Regards,
Sahil

Updating an app fixes the the issue many times.
However, as you've mentioned the Photoshop works with the system requirements setting i.e 1280x800 but doesn't work on 1920x1080.
Have you tried updating the video drivers and see if that helps?
