Photoshop doesn't work after I place a vector from Illustrator

Hi Everyone!

The reason I am posting is because Photoshop is being impossible, and I am really close to throw my computer out the window.

I made two really simple vector designs  and a gradient mesh in Illustrator, and as soon as I try to use it in Photoshop, I can't.

When I place the vectors into Photoshop, I can move them around, resize them etc. without problem, but as soon as I try to use the gradient mesh as well, it goes crazy. On the main screen I can't see the gradient mesh, however it shows up on the side inside the navigatior box:

And the other problem I have, if I try to use these I can't save my documents, neither on my computer or on the Cloud:

Also, when I'm trying to save my work, Ps freezes and crashes, and I don't understand what's wrong because I didn't have this problem in the past.

I'm using a 2015 MacBook Pro with Catalina 10.15.7, and I tried to look for solutions, but I didn't see anything that could help me solve this problem, so I hope someone will help me out here, it is important.

Any help would be appriciated!

Please read this (in particular the section titled "Supply pertinent information for more timely and effective answers”):

What have you done for trouble-shooting so far?

Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:

Hey, thank you for your reply!

Yes, I have turned off the "Use Graphic Processor" option, then relaunched the program, but that didn't have any effect on the issue, so I turned it back on. I also went through the links you've provided, and the only thing that seems to make things better if I turn off the layer visibility, then I can save the documents without any problems, however the gradient mesh is still not working.

I noticed that after I deleted the default background layer, the gradient mesh layer shows up on the main screen, but when I try to resize it, I can't see the changes on the screen, just on the side in the Navigator Box.
If I toggle off the layer visibility and save the file and load it back, then it shows what I've changed, but this is such a compilacted and tiresome way to work.

Can you provide the file?

Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences (Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?

I do not see a Problem like that on my Windows machine. Is all your software up to date and Photoshop supports your GPU on your Mac?

Hey, thank you for your reply!

Yes, Photoshop supports GPU on my Mac, and the only thing that is not up to date, is the MacOS, because I still use Catalina instead of Big Sur, and I'm not really planning to change that yet.
