Photoshop image adjustment

Hi!

Help needed!

Designed a fabric pattern.

Then wanted to change the tonality.

Used mainly hue/saturation, curves and levels.

Can`t find my work file, only png.

Need to produce fabric, but I`m not able to restore this pattern, impossible.

I've tried for hours- cannot be copied 🙂

I`m as well the beginner, can't handle tools so well...where to move to change right midtones, shadows and highlights.

Is it possible to restore even close?

NB!On the right is the original pattern which I used making the second version.

Many thanks!

How extensively did you employ Layer Masks?

Because it seems fairly unlikely that the changes in the two areas marked in the screenshot are the result of the exact same Adjustments.

Edit: A Gradient Map Adjustment Layer might be helpful, but without the actual images in full resolution it’s hard to tell.

Thank you for your help.

We made very similar new pattern from scratch using same colors. The result is not exactly same, but we are happy.

Necessary lesson 🙂

Used mainly hue/saturation, curves and levels.

Did you use those Adjustments destructively (not a good idea) or as Adjustment Layers (a better idea) and save the layered file?

The image does not seem to load properly for me.

Please post the two images separately.
