Hello,
I have installed Adobe Photoshop 25.0.0 and Adobe Bridge 13.0.4.755.
When in Bridge I select Tools>Photoshop>Load Files Into Photoshop Layers… I get the message from the attached image and the photos don't open in Photoshop.
I use this option a lot and until today, without any problems whatsoever, but apparently, something is happening after the most recent updates.
Can anyone help me with this one?
Thank you so much in advance.
*I’m on a iMac M1 - macOS Ventura 13.6

Hello Jane,
Unfortunately it didn't help.
The issue happens with DNG files, even though everything is configured to “Adobe Photoshop 2024 25.0”
Meanwhile, I tested with *.psd and *.jpeg files and the same error occurs.

I wasn't sure on this one, but knew it wouldn't hurt to try. Let's see if someone else has an idea. Otherwise, you will need to contact Adobe Customer Care directly.

Jane,
I ended up identifying the problem myself.
I already had bridge version 14.0 installed, but the Creative Cloud Desktop App didn't ask if I wanted to delete the previous version, like it did with Photoshop and the system was using the previous version instead of the new one.
Problem solved.
Thank you.

If you have Twitter / X (I don't and won't), you can send a tweet and they will get back to you.

PS 2023 latest update crashes my whole system. From Bridge 2023 I try open a raw file (ACR) and get "verifying adobe photoshop..." then everything stops. Waited 10 minutes and could not even select the apple icon to try to force quit. Forced shutdown of my mac. Tried again with exactly same result. Mac: Ventura latest update. 32GB of memory BTW.
ADOBE: I HAVE DEADLINES AND CANNOT GET MY WORK DONE. FIX THIS PLEASE.
BTW, same thing happened about six months ago. Can anyone suggest an alternative to PS???

Here are some steps you can try to resolve this problem:
Check for Software Updates: Ensure that both Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Bridge are up to date. Sometimes, issues like these are addressed in software updates. Go to the Adobe Creative Cloud application and check for any pending updates for both Photoshop and Bridge.
Restart Your Computer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve software glitches or conflicts.
Reset Preferences:
Check File Compatibility: Ensure that the files you are trying to open in Photoshop are in a compatible format (e.g., JPEG, PNG, PSD) and that they are not corrupted.
Temporary Workaround: If the issue persists, you can try a temporary workaround by manually opening Photoshop and then using the File > Scripts > Load Files into Stack option in Photoshop. This will allow you to select and open multiple files as layers.

Hello again, Jane,
Now I have another issue.
Bridge is opening automatically on startup, although this option is unchecked as can be seen in the attached image.
I also get another strange message that I had never seen before. (also in attachment).

I tried everything Zeeshan suggested--that I could. Nothing works
cntl-option-shift while starting PS results the same.
Again... When trying to open PS either from bridge or from dock or from finder the msg "verifying adobe photoshop 2023.app" and then my whole computer freezes.

Try Adobe Customer Care again. They are the only ones who can look at your screen.
(Don't respond to PMs, as they are scammers.)

My problem is apparently the result of the age of my iMac (2018?) and the Radeon graphics in it. I will be replacing that machine. Thanks to those who attempted to help and apologies for the time wasted.

I already solved this problem too. I discovered that Bridge automatically appeared in ‘Settings > General > Login Items > Open at Login’ window. I removed it from there and it didn't happen again.
