I got photoshop today, its a mess, its getting works the UX is terrible, you click some keys like you used to and it closes photoshop, and you loose your work, you select an area you use to just select and apple t or control t and move resize the shape, you used to select an easy combination on a selection and just duplicate and drag.
Worse I saved work when I go back to it, it has an old state, so it might have saved my work to a cloud without y permission, just a disgusting waste of my time.
Most of use don't have the issues you describe. I'm sure if you go through each one carefully you can sort them out.
You can choose to save your files on your computer or onto the cloud, it's your choice.
Regarding drag to reshape you don't need to use another key with it. You can go back to the legacy version in Photoshop Preferences if you prefer.
Unexpected crashes may be caused by an inadequate system. How much RAM and spare hard disk capacity do you have?
