Photoshop - Wacom - Latest Update Bug

So for me the program is unusable now.

Whenever I use any tool, instead of the tool doing what it should be doing it acts like the hand tool and moves around the canvas.

Things work fine when using a mouse, but without the ability to use the pressure sensitivity of my tablet I cannot accomplish my work.

This needs to be fixed now.

For now I'm going to have to use clip studio to do my work until the issue is resolved.

I have Photoshop CC 2017, and I don't see this folder about photoshop setting, how do I fix this error?

Amanda

There should be no need for any workaround now that Microsoft have issued a further update to fix the issued caused in their earlier release. See here for details:

Anybody still struggling with this issue here is a video that shows you how to deal with the pen pressure problem

PEN PRESSURE Problem in ADOBE PHOTOSHOP [SOLVED] | Remove Alert Sign in Pen Pressure Section - YouTube

then as previous answer uncheck 'Use Windows Ink'

I logged in just to thank you, I've been losing my mind over this issue for the past 6 hours and somehow this video helped. It's odd, the video supplied the exact steps every other site was mentioning, but when I tried it again it worked. I don't know how it worked this time, but it did and that's what matters. What a way to end a highly stressful day (another long story).

Hello, I have the same problem, I did create a PSUserConfig.txt with the following lines.

# Use WinTab

UseSystemStylus 0

and saved it on my

C: > Users > Username > AppData > Roaming > Adobe > Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 > Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 Settings

and then restarted photoshop but nothing works... I also tried disabling the (KB4093112) update but it doesn't allow me to uninstall it.

I uninstalled the last Adobe Flash Player update, that worked for me on the Gaomon PD1560 Tablet.

Once following these steps.

The pen pressure then does not work after un checking the "Use Windows Ink" box.

Any help please?

Turning off Windows Ink resolves the canvas issue. To get back the pen pressure, you must create the PSUserConfig.txt file exactly as described earlier then restart Photoshop.

Hi

Please use search before posting - this issue has been answered several times today

The latest windows update (KB4093112)  has caused an issue with the Wacom tablet and Photoshop.

You can either - undo the update

or

Do the following:

1. Use notepad to create a text file and type in :

UseSystemStylus 0

2. Save the file as PSUserConfig.txt in the following location
C: > Users > Username > AppData > Roaming > Adobe > Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 > Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 Settings

3. Go to the Wacom tablet properties and for Photoshop under Mapping  uncheck "Use Windows Ink"

4. Restart Photoshop (if it was open when you did this)

That is it - all should now work well

Hi

In Explorer you need to go to View and put a check mark in Hidden items
