Problem to stop photoshop from updating

Hello,

I am confronted with an issue i did not have before and I don't know what has changed.

Maybe someone can help me !

I have set-up my preferences for no update from my adobe applications : Photoshop.

But systematically, a few hours later I have 2 versions installed on my computer which causes many issues.

I appreciate a lot if someone can give me an idea how to solve this.

@laurent1587 when you do any kind of update - auto or manual it gives you a choice to remove older software. That option appears to be unchecked, so when you did update it kept 2023.

Are you saying 2024 automatically installed without your action?

Yes for your question.

Actually I took out photoshop from my computer. I did not keep preferences.

I installed 2023 and then a few hours later, or one day later 2024 appeared on top of 2023 so that i had both on my computer. This although I had the above settings.

I have repeated this several times on two different computers and I had the same result.

That is strange for me. I had not this problem before.

For sure I changed something but I don't know what !!

Do you have an idea where it could come from ?
