Problem with "difference" blend mode and solid color ajustment layer.

When I use a solid color ajustment layer, it create a problem with the rendition of the colors.

In slide 1, you can see I used a solid color ajustment layer.  In slide 2, I created a merge layer (CTRL+shift+ALT+E) and the colors in the merge layer don't match the ones of the original photo.  It's like PS doesn't apply the propre color profile on the merge layer.

That problem occurs only with the "difference" blend mode.  Everything is fine with the other blend mode.

Friends of mine did the test with their computers and they don't have my problem.

Therefore the problem must be with my computer.  What could be the cause?  What could affect ONLY one blend mode in particular ("difference" blend mode)?

Could you please post a screenshot taken at View > 100% with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Channels, Options Bar, …) visible?

And I mean »post«, not »attach«.
