Question

Processed image color difference

I have been using the Adobe PhotoShop  for couple of years now, updated to the latest version ie 24.0.1 (My OS is Windows 10 with  intel core i5. 2.5GHZ, 8 GB /256 GB, 64 Bit & NVIDIA GTX 1650 )

Recently,  I have come across an issue with an image transferred to my mobile which was  processed in Adobe PS

Most of the blue colors  of the  processed image (  a landscape picture )   turns out to Purple, when seen in the Mobile (supports Android version 12).,

Before writing this, I was going through various discussions on this subject already happened among the Adobe community, esp the recommendations given by "Davescm. Community Expert" .

As per Davescm's recommendations, the image was saved and  exported (uploaded to my mobile) using "Save for Web (Legacy)" ensuring that both  "Convert to sRGB" and "Embed Color Profile" are checked. Still I found the same issue.

(  But in contrast,  I dont see any other color difference between the original image and the same image downloaded in the mobile. Also any  unprocessed images  transferred from the laptop to the mobile  or  from the camera direclty to the mobile are seen without any such issues. )

Any solutions on the issue please? Thanks in advance.

Warm regards and Christmas Greetings.

In the Export dialogue option, make sure "embed colour profile" is selected. If not this kind of issue might happens.

Hello,

Thanks for the resaponse.

As I mentioned in my original mail, before exporting I have selected "embeded color profile". Still I have that issue.

If you are embedding the ICC profile, then, when re-opened in Photoshop - or any colour management savvy application that appearance should be unchanged. How are you viewing when assessing appearance after export?

I hope this helps
