Hi,
Really by pure curiosity if any one know why ?
In Windows Explorer the setting is [always ] for view is large icons for any pictures folders.
I had to put it in details view and I saw that only the .PSD file are view [indicated] as TYPE : Adobe Photoshop Image 25, not as .PSD file, like any other photoshop save file: like:
.psb save file = TYPE : PSB FILE
.tif save file = TYPE : TIFF FILE
.jpg save file = TYPE : JPG
Thanks

Thanks @Ged_Traynor for your input.
I was curious because it's only for .PSD that show the : Adobe Photoshop Image 25 instead of the extension file like any other picture extension file. I did look on the web and saw others community members that ask the same question. But a bit strange because all my default setting point out to photoshop to open .psd and I do not have other photoshop version.

@Kapture benoit it's the same for other applications as well, also it's been that way for Photoshop for some time

Agreed, the [ type ] identify the " type " of file.
Was curious because before it was only showing .PSD and why does it shows .PSB and not Adobe Photoshop Image 25(like for .PSD FILE). So like I said in a previous respond concerning Pictures folders(when need to go in detail view) I switch to File extension(instead of " TYPE" ) because it only shows the extension .PSD, easier to search, easier to read (do not need to expend the column).
Thanks @Ged_Traynor

Simple solution, I switch from [ type ] to [ file extension] that way it only chow .PSD take less space easier to read - search.
thanks
