Quick question about creating actions

Hi all! I do all of my editing in photoshop but I do lots of heavy editing so I'm trying to put together a group of actions for myself that I use the most to speed up my workflow. I've created all of my actions and placed them in a new folder. Whenever I run an action, it plays nicely. But when I run the next one, it doesn't close the first action out automatically like I've seen done with my other action sets. It just starts pulling up layer by layer when I run each action. How can I fix this?

What do you mean by close the action out? There is no such thing. An action runs through its steps then its done. If you want to save and close the files, you need that in the action.

I'm horrible at trying to explain. My apologies. For instance. I've purchased several action packs before that come in a bundle. I can click on the action and it will run it nicely. Then if I click on another action, the action that was run beforehand basically disappears in the layers tab. It doesn't continually try to stack them if that makes sense?

Have you gone to the person who created these action packs to see if there is an update?

Firstly, make sure that you save the action set to .atn file!

Can you post a cropped screenshot of your action panel with all steps expanded and wide enough to view all content.

Sure! Is this what you need? The first image shows the first action being ran, no issues. Once I attempt to run the next action, it does all of this mess. Each action only works correction if the action before it is flattened.

That is not what is asked by @Stephen Marsh You have posted Layers not ACctions panel with action steps expanded. Another solution is to upload somewhere actions and post link here so we can test them and find errors.
