Removing subject from complex background

Hi, I'm trying to remove this woman from this photo. The problem is that the background is so complex that even after I use content aware fill or delete and fill selection it destroys the background and makes everything look distorted.

Is there a better option to do this?

Hi gener7, I'm looking to erase the subject from the photo so only the background is left. Not remove the background from the subject.

It would be laborious for sure, but it can be done. The thing to remember in Photoshop is that you're not removing something, you're covering it up.
