Saving a PNG file

If you want the background to be black, or whatever color, then Fill the background with the color. Or if you want to make that choice later then fill the background with White. I think your problem is coming from not having a background color.

Also, I created the file from scratch in photoshop. I did not upload a file or anything like that. This is an original file I created and tried to save.

I have Photoshop CC 2019. I just started having this problem a week or so ago. I am providing screenshots below:

It looks like it has a transparent background in photoshop.

Then I save as:

I save as PNG

This is what the saved file looks like when I save it:

This is what the saved file looks like when I try to apply it.

I have never had this issue before and I don't know how to resolve it.

Hi i think you are using windows 10 when you save png and open it shows black background but did you tried to open saved file in photoshop and check it has no background, hope you understand.

There is No CS6 2019. There is Photoshop CC 2019, version 20.0.6 20190724.r.80 2019/07/24: 1207344 x64

CS6 is years old.

So what exact version of PS do you have?

I don't have any problems saving a file as a PNG. And I haven't heard of any problems. I'd like to know who the People are that have expressed as a possible issue with the software update?

What is the exact error and or problem you are having when trying to save the file as a PNG?
