Saving locally to computer option in preferences vanished

Hey.

The preference option to "save as to" locally computer rather than always going to cloud first has disapeared from very latest 25.6.0 Photoshop.   It was there on previous versions (even of 2024)... Reading the forums I know people asked for it and you brought in that option in PREFS>FILE HANDLING

Hey Adobe - can you bring it back?? why do I always have to make that extra mouse click to get to local computer. I never want to save in the cloud.

Thanks

Graeme

@Graeme Bulcraig it's still there for me, try manually resetting your Photoshop preferences

Remember to back up your settings before doing the preference reset

This comes up occasionally, resetting prefs should bring it back as previously suggested.

Still there for me , but I am on Windows. It would be good if a Mac user can confirm.
