Scanning and Printing Question
I am going to scan an image at 600 pdi, or maybe 900 to do a photo restoration job. Perhaps the resolution is too high. After all, the higher the resolution, the more imperfections show up, do you agree? Maybe I should keep the dpi down at 300. What's your thoughts.
I do not know what size paper my client wants to print the image on. What should I do to make sure I get the aspect ratio of the image correct? I won't have to change the image size will I? That's all up to the printer set up, correct? I realize that if the image has a certain aspect ration I can't change that unless I crop it.
