Its Chuck script the frame did not need to flip the selection it a nice added touch and it would be easy to fill the transparent areas with Photoshop content aware fill. It would not be hard to modify Chuck's script or use the script in an Action that add the content aware fill to fill in the transparent area.

If you want a full content aware frame that you can easily record are action  to do that  if you know the document has a 300 ppi solution and you want a 1/2" frame.

I'm not sure that the script in that link uses content aware.

You shouldn't need a script anyway, an action can handle this with ease.

A script would not need to use content aware Photoshop features it would just need to create layers from selected areas and expand the document canvas. I would  think the one on Adobe exchange would work for you it you do not need the corner areas filled. Its Free Written by Chuck Uebele

Mr JJmack that's a good script and useful but I need content-aware. Your script is mirror reflected. Can you prefer something better than?
