Question

Script to export 5 Different Jpeg

Hello everybody, I’m new to the community and I’ve searched through forums but I couldn’t find any script for my needs.

I make designs with 2:3 aspect ratio and sell them in 5 different large sizes. The measure I designed is 2:3 aspect ratio and I create them as follows.

Aspect ratios

JPEG that I export

3:4

18 x 24

11x14

22 x 28

4:5

24 x 30

2:3

24 x 36

5:7 (A1-A4)

A1 23.4 x 33.1

The reason why I export to the largest extent in each aspect ratio, so customers can reduce the image at the relevant rate without losing quality. The problem I'm having here is this: Since I designed a 2:3 picture, when exporting it in other sizes, I need to enlarge it a little from the top or the sides and crop it.

I write the necessary process in order

  1. Upload all the photos in the folder I selected in order
  2. Make the necessary action when the picture does not fit on the canvas (resize, shrink, crop, enlarge)
  3. Export each of them into a chosen folder as 300 DPI and 300 PPI JPEG respectively, in the export ratios I gave above and write each jpeg with a ratio name such as ...18x24, ...22x28

I need a Photoshop or Illustrator script for the above process.

Maybe there is a very easy way for these processes I mentioned without even writing a script. But I don't know that. I have both Photoshop and Illustrator. I would be very grateful if you could help me with this issue.

That does not seem like a meaningful description of the process to me.

Please post meaningful screenshots (including Layer Panel etc.) to illustrate what exactly you do with regard to enlarging.

Edit: If full automation is intended there need to be clear and unequivocal rules about what is to be done in all four cases.

Hello Sir,

I'm sorry for late response.

Now here I am sharing 4 screenshots with you to explain what I need. Since I make my designs according to the 2x3 aspect ratio, I have to scale the design according to the relevant canvas every time to sell these products in other sizes. I did not share the 2x3 ratio screenshot with you because it is not needed. It already fits the canvas when I embed it.

I sell my designs according to 5 dimensions. Except 2:3 aspect ratio, I need to scale every individual design according to canvas and export them as Jpeg 300 DPI. It takes quite a while to do this for dozens of designs.

So I need an automation that will upload the designs from my folder >

scale and fit it into desired canvas size >

names it as a related size (such as cat 18x24, cat 22x28 etc..) >

export it as jpeg 300 DPI >

Could you please help me speed up this operation?

The images appear not to have been cropped at all, instead having added blank space left and right.
