Setting for text layer to fix position when changing justification?

I receive art for the web sites I create via PS files. In a recent file I recieved, when I changed the justidfication of a text layer from left to center, the entire text box moved. But when I inserted a text layer in the same document, entered text and changed the justification, the text box didn't move.

 

When I click on each, I can't see any setting that's different anywhere onscreen. Where is the setting that controls this?

I figured out what the issue is. In my current PS setup, the size of the text box changes to fit the text. In the past I have made layouts in PS and I was able to make text boxes, size and place them exactly the way I wanted them and independent of what text was inside them. Then I imported them into Animate and every setting was preserevd.

 

I assume there a setting in PS that governs that. Where do I find that?

Are you using paragraph or point text? And if paragraph text, is your text box larger than the actual text? Your text can and will move (in different ways) depending on those settings.

Your text box should not move and there is no setting to control this. Can you post a screenshot of what happened to the one that moved?

Below are 3 example images. The only difference between them is one of the text justification buttons has been clicked. It clealy shows in each case that the text field itself has been moved.
