Shortcut to collapse/expand right sidebar?

Is there a shortcut to expand/collapse the right sidebar (the one with layers and all that)?

I have a 13" screen and that takes a lof of space so sometimes I want to be able to just collapse that panel.

I don't want to hide it (which is now set to Shift+Tab). Just want to collapse it.

If there's a shortcut, can I also customize it? If so, where is that located in the Keyboard Shortcuts window?

Thanks! 🙂

You can create two custom workspaces: one with the Dock (right sidebar) collapsed; the other with it expanded. Then create and assign shortcuts to each workspace in Edit menu > Keyboard shortcuts.

Thanks for the quick reply and the workaround option 🙂

I will try that.

You can save workspaces with collapsed or expanded panels.

You can create an action (F key) or script (keyboard shortcut) that loads the appropritate saved/named workspace.

You can also use the F key (not function key) to cycle between the three screen modes.

Sounds like you know about the tab key.

Offhand I can't recall there being a shortcut or menu command, apart from the icon used with the mouse.

EDIT: I prefer jane-e's more direct keyboard shortcut without the need for an action or script!
