Hi
Thanks to all who took part in the last challenge based on Ged's excellent rendering, there were some great ideas and images.
This weekend, with the end of October coming up, we have something a little different. Rather than a starter scene, the challenge is to create a Halloween based image in whatever format you like, but it should incorporate the text below somewhere within it.
The “rules”:
* Anything goes, as long as it meets the forum rules on decency, copyright etc
* Anyone, and everyone, is welcome to have a go, whether you are a complete beginner or a Photoshop expert. This is not just for our forum "regulars".
* There are no prizes apart from the chance to practice, show off, or bring a bit of humour and fun. Don't be shy, join in and have a go!
* The starter image is made available for you to use in this forum challenge only.
To download the image below with transparency, hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right. Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser).
When posting back your image – please use the blue reply button in this first post. If posting a comment on someone else’s entry then please use the grey reply button next to their image post.
Have fun
Dave

Indeed, Dave, all the more reason to do it.
In any case the suggestion might be compelling at this time where it could be mistaken for a letter shuffling.

A clever idea Jane. Who is going to be the first person to comment with some corny puns involving the borrowed letter?

I forgot to say that I "carved" the jack-o-lantern from Dave's render in SFTW148.

I love this, and thanks for the heads up about Stable Diffusion which is very cool. Adobe need to buy this and make it a Creative Cloud extra.

Nice use, should we say resurrection 🙂 , of an old SFTW image Bob. I remember making that image in Blender 3D.

I like that Barbara - it's a good mix of graphical and realistic with the hanging cloth.

I think William Austin and Giovanni Battista Piranesi would appreciate that J E L ! Did you hand colour the Pantheon?
