According to the stone above the door, England's King Charles (the first not the present) stood on this tower, now named Phoenix Tower, in Chester and saw his army defeated. I wonder what it looked like that day in 1645?

I had to look a bit closely to see but once did, it was obvious.

Yes, I took out the tree, but there is a much more significant thing that was removed.
