Something for the Weekend - Part 187 - Charles' Tower

According to the stone above the door, England's King Charles (the first not the present) stood on this tower, now named Phoenix Tower, in Chester and saw his army defeated. I wonder what it looked like that day in 1645?

I had to look a bit closely to see but once did, it was obvious.

My first thought was - did you take out the tree? 🙂

Yes, I took out the tree, but there is a much more significant thing that was removed.

Yes - knew it was more than the tree. I did find the more significant thing and know Charles isn't happy. 🙂

Actually, a third, less significant thing was removed as well.

There are some historians that say he wasn't at that tower. You must subscribe to that theory Bob 🙂
