Thank you to @jane-e for creating our last 'BB-8' SFTW challenge, and to all who took part in it.
A couple of weeks ago many folk descended on Loch Ness, in Scotland, to search for the famous monster, which is said to inhabit the loch. No-one found anything, but the legend continues. At 23 miles long and 755 feet deep there is plenty of water there, but over the years there have only been a few grainy and blurry photographs of something in the water.
The following week, I was standing on the shore of the loch on a very calm morning and got to thinking that 'team Photoshop' could help put this right. So this is where you come in.
Can you show us your explanation of what the 'monster' might be or might look like?
The “rules”:
To download the image below, hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right.
Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser).
When posting back your image — please use the blue reply button in this first post and use the 'Insert Photos' icon at the top of the reply box. If posting a comment on someone else’s entry, then please use the grey reply button next to their image post.
Have fun!
Dave

I think you might have nailed it Ged. If you imagine this as a blurry, grainy, monochrome image, it just about matches what we've seen 🙂

Rather an outwitting one, Trevor.

Hah! We see a lot of Orca (killer whales) here, but I have never heard the tuxedo analogy Dave. So I might have to borrow that next time the opportunity occurs. 🙂

It looks like this picture shows the wrong parts of whale anatomy. I cannot link to articles, because the URLs contain banned words, so you might want to sreach the web for the professor who thinks he has found out where all those sea monster stories are coming from and what sailors were actually watching 😄

I can't help but think of this “Bewitched” episode (Season 8; Episode 3) when anyone mentions the Loch Ness Monster. It's not a monster, it's Steve Franken! How wild that in 1971, the production team (likely the director of special effects, Dick Albain), had the idea to turn a blackboard into a Zoom call. Watch the video clip from that episode attached to see for yourself!

Indeed, it takes that added strength in order to see Nessie 🙂

Ah hah! It's starting to become clear. You need special (115% proof) powers in order to see Nessie.

Serious question: I keep getting this error when trying to embed video in forum threads recently. Can someone test to see if it is general or just me please?

Is your video public or private? I found this info to change it to Public (I haven't tried it.)
