Thanks to all who took part in our previous 'bridge' challenge.
This week, I heard someone mention that they had been 'sold a lemon'. That got me wondering what images our SFTW team would make with such a subject. So here we are, I've supplied the lemons, what can you make with them?
The “rules”:
To download the image, hover over the image and click on the circle with the arrows at the top right. Then, when the image opens in its own window, right click and choose “Save Image As/Save Target As” (or similar depending on your browser).
When posting back your image — please use the blue reply button in this first post and use the 'Insert Photos' icon at the top of the reply box. If posting a comment on someone else’s entry, then please use the grey reply button next to their image post.
Have fun!
Dave

Ah, @GeekyGirlRex, you are too kind! I've been looking at antique-look metal tiles for a dining room renovation and was so inspired!

Nice textures James.
I know what you mean about seeing a flaw. If I render a 3D scene and see an issue, I can't leave it there 🙂

James, I often correct forum posts, down to single letter errors; regularly here, sometimes even going back and forth between different appearances based on different choices of qualities and feel.
I believe it is stronger than we (and many others here) in every case, regardless of its being (un)noticeable to others.

I started by duplicating the layer, rotating by 15° with the pivot point on the center of one of the lemons and then typed Shift-Option-Command-T multiple times to apply the same transformation on a duplicate until it made a full circle. Then Image>Reveal All to get the bits that were outside the document bounds. Then applied color using Color overlay layer style in Hue mode and changed the Hue by 15° for each to get the full rainbow of colors... I just typed +15 to the hue on each to increment the color by that amount. Then I few filters and blending modes to stylize the results. Was just playing around with no exact vision in mind.

Welcome to SFTW, Ben. It's a nice image and I like it when people post how they created something. It helps others which is the purpose of these forums. 🙂
