Hi
I thought we should have a "Something for the Weekend" boat trip. However it looks like both our boat and the jetty are in need of some attention. Can you fix them?
As always, anything goes as long as it meets the forum rules on decency, copyright etc.
Anyone and everyone is welcome to have a go - whether you are a complete beginner or a Photoshop expert.
There are no prizes apart from the chance to practice, show off, or bring a bit of humour and fun. Don't be shy, join in and have a go!
When posting back your edited images please use jpeg and downsize to 1200px on the long side.
To download the image below in jpeg format with ICC color profile (sRGB) and without the forum scaling artefacts , right click and then use Save Image As /Save Target As (or similar depending on your browser).
Have fun.

Hi
Jane - That's one happy spider! Also there must be treasure behind that lock. I love the imagination of a 9 year old!
Graham - you mention models, did you make the image in Dimension or a 3D app? I did that in Blender for my "fixed" boat, and got the reflections by using two renders - one with no reflection plane and one with. I then combined them in Photoshop and used the smudge tool to pull the edges and introduce some ripples.

yes I did it in Dimension and it has 34 of the free Adobe stock models... the idea was to show them all but i ran out of time and the file is already 1.5 G so i stopped
the Ryzen took just under 5 mins to rendor it and yes some of the models look a little dull but I didn't want to replace any of the materials because I'm showing them as is... I would have added "Red Anodized Metal1" to the car panels if I wanted them to really pop against the river reflections
my free Dimension stock library has 17 lights, 38 materials and 751 models

Graham, I’m going to have to gather my entire litter patrol team to clean up your rubbish — it’s not a one-person job! The older girl has an answer to your question, but she had to go to rock climbing lessons and has said she would email me the answer.

I wonder what the contributing granddaughters think of it.
Jacob, I am home again so the girls have not seen your image yet. They do love looking through all of the previous weeks and know most everyone here by name and by style.

Hi jane-e:
Please tell I. and L. that I love their work!
Maybe it's time for a Photographer's subscription and some training from a beloved Adobe Photoshop ACI. Although take it from me, kids need very little training—I watched J. teach herself Photoshop via google and youtube while I was sitting in the same room. Whenever she asked me a question, she would watch me stop what I was doing, look up to consider the question, make a decision on based on her current knowledge level on where to start to answer and by the time I opened my mouth to speak, she would inevitably say never mind, I found it.

Hi jane-e:
High school when she got serious. But she was making melon-head families and dressing that wooden mannequin starting in elementary school.
On a side note, google mr. melon head—I guess a good melon never dies.

Jane,
They do love looking through all of the previous weeks and know most everyone here by name and by style.
I believe they may also come across a wider range of their language than have many others. Are they aware that they were born as lassbairns? And that some might say they speak Yanklish?

Certainly, Joan.
The lonely lips grew on me and I started hearing the song (at least one of the others knows it by the words); and it was stronger than I.
I wonder what the contributing granddaughters think of it.

I fixed the jetty in Illustrator and fixed the boat with a match and a gallon of gas.

Jacob - TTwo ships passing ....... I like it!
Joan - Nice! Is that a new species of underwater butterfly?
Dean - All that rain will put out Jane's fire.
Jane - I hope the new pier doesnt catch fire.

The smoking kissing ship escaped on 5th June, reaching Aberdeen the next day and still hiding there from litterblast, storm, rain, fire, Dave, and whatnot.
