The capacity of the photoshop file is too large. A message pops up when I save it.

This document contains nested layer groups that may change in appearance if opened in applications older than Photoshop CS6.

Please let me know how to solve this problem.

What problem? 

Do you expect someone to edit the file in Photoshop CS6 or older? 

If so then do not nest that many Groups.

I haven't worked on the previous version, and I haven't saved it like that, but such a warning appears.

If editing in Photohsop CS6 is not a requirement then you can ignore the issue.

I'm getting this too. And it's very confusing because CS6 is a waaaay older version than the version the files was created in, and has been saved in MULTPLE times.

So people saying "what's the problem if you're not going to open it in CS6" - EVERY version of photoshop is now olde rthan CS6 - so what the heck is this error about?

Mine started after I reset preferences because after an update I just kept getting the beack ball on every action I took.

The message (it IS NOT AN ERROR) means that the file will not be right if opened in older apps than CS6. It doesn't mean you are working in CS6. But some people are using old apps, or even using non-Adobe apps which don't understand how to handle these files. You can ignore it if neither of these applies, but it seems a useful warning for people sharing files.

"EVERY version of photoshop is now older than CS6 " -- no idea what you mean by this. Some versions are older and some are newer, and people are somewhere using all of them.

That's really the leats important part of my post. I mean CS6 was created in 2012 - virtually no-one is using it. We're in 2022.

Why would a file that I created in 2020, that was created in and has been opened in many versions of photoshop that are far newer than CS6 already, suddennly decide to show me this message? That's what I don't underdstand.

A conversation about how many people use CS6 is pointless.

I get this stupid message all the time. I just ignore it. I've always thought it was some kind of bug. Annoying, but ignorable. (At least I hope it is ha)
