Tiff - No option to save without layers

Using PS 23.2.0 ver.  As of this am I no longer have the option to save a tiff file without without layers. Ideas?  Thanks.

Saving a layered TIFF as a flattened file will by definition have to be a copy.

Could you please post screenshots with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Options Bar, …) visible? 

Does the file actually have Layers?

That is one screenshot … please post screenshots illustrating the process. 

 

For example: Did you »Save As« or »Save A Copy«? 

»Save As« would naturally preclude the destruction of the Layer data.

I have always had that option(TIFF) to save as without layers... as of this am it is now greyed out.

If the issue arose when you used File > Save As try File > Save a Copy instead. 

 

And please post meaningful screenshots.
