Tool Tip 'Quick Videos' and 'Learn More' links not working

Hi,

Complete newcomer to PS.

When I hover over an icon I get a pop-out offering me the options to 'Learn More' or watch a 'Quick Video'. When I select either of these nothing happens.

I've searched for help but the only thing I can find is how to turn the pop-off!!

I seem to have to the opposite problem to everyone else. I'm hoping the info and tutorials will be useful.

PS 26.6.1

MacOS 15.5.0

Can anyone suggest what the issue might be?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for responding. I gave the adobe Chatbot a try and got put through to an adviser.

They connected remotely and found that my preference file(?) was corrupted. They added an 'old' suffix to a settings folder in Library > Preferences then restarted PS, which they said created a new settings folder. This fixed the issue.
I'm not sure what initiated the issue as I have not really done anything in PS up to now.
I will start learning how to use PS now.

Thanks again for responding and offering to help me solve the issue.

Sameer's advice is good.

I've had similar problems, Zephaniah. Most of them have been due to browser settings and browser extensions that block popups.

We can discuss further if you're running something like I am, Adblocker Ultimate; and in Firefox, I have block pop-up windows which is site-adjustable.

Hey, @Zephaniah Scadder. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll help you get started. Please share the system info from Photoshop Help > System info > Copy and paste into a text document > Upload and attach here.

You should be able to access these in-app learning experiences from the Discover panel (CMD/CTRL + F), you can open it from the Magnifying glass in the top right corner of Photoshop.

You can follow the tutorials for Photoshop on this page: https://www.adobe.com/learn/photoshop?learnIn=1

Also, make sure Photoshop has the full disk access on macOS: https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-discussions/quick-tips-how-to-give-full-disk-access-to-lightroom-classic-on-macos/td-p/12913413

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!
