Unable to download Skin Retouching Actions pack from Adobe Exchange

Earlier this evening I purchased the Skin Retouching Actions pack from Adobe Exchange but have been unable to download the actions. I keep getting a message that says “The file cannot be downloaded at the moment, please try again later.”

I found a thread from 2015 in the Adobe forum about the same problem. The “correct answer” suggested contacting the seller through Adobe Exchange (which I just did) and also notifying Jonathan Ferman at Adobe of the problem (although no contact info for Mr. Ferman was provided).

Apparently the contact info was sent to the OP via personal message.

I found two threads regarding similar problems. Actually this one was about a problem with installation, rather than with downloading.

I would think that if people are unable to complete Adobe Exchange transactions for whatever reason, someone at Adobe would want to know about it.

But maybe not…

Thanks anyway.

The author responded by sending an alternate download link on another site, so maybe contacting the author will be an adequate workaround for others as well.

This is user to user forum, by the way. Adobe employees may occasionally visit and respond. Have you notified Adobe Exchange team before posting here?

No, I don’t see a way to report it to Adobe Exchange. That’s why I asked how to contact Mr. Ferman, since notifying him was suggested in the 2015 forum post.

Adobe Exchange has change quite a bit in the last three years what I poster is what I see on Adobe exchange December 2018.  The package you want does not seem to be on exchange today it may have been in 2015.

Maybe it isn’t supposed to be there, but it is. This is the page from which I purchased and paid for the actions yesterday (Dec. 18).

The transaction is listed on my My Exchange page.

The product has two reviews, both unfavorable (and both related to the need for an update).

However, I have seen glowing reviews on two other sites (both of which say the product has been updated go Version 2.0 -- and list new the features that have been added as of October 2018). In fact, they include videos demonstrating the new features.

The price on Adobe Exchange (which still says the version is 1.0) is about 30% lower than on the other sites.

Author is well known, I have seen that screen name on many markets so if you cannot get answer go and find this author elsewhere, perhaps on Graphic River where you can send direct message https://graphicriver.net/user/sparklestock

If you need a refund please send details of payment made to asupport@adobe.com but I would also contact the developer support@sparklestock.com and try installing another way, using the link from the page you acquired the product from on Adobe Exchange.
