Unable to work with JPEG files in Photoshop 23.1.1

Hi.

I have not been able to open JPEG/JPG files in Photoshop 2022 (23.1.1). More specifically, I am able to open them but they seem to glitch out the app entirely. Everything starts lagging, even scrolling across the image opened is impossible.

This is how the JPEG files open.

When I try to click, move around or do anything for that matter, it starts acting wierd and becomes unresponsive.

 Every other file format I deal with seem to be working fine. (PNGs are ok. PSD files are fine too.)

My PC is on Windows 11. I use a Nvidia 1650ti and I am on the latest Nvidia Studio driver.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi

Try enabling this option in preferences and restarting Photoshop to see if it helps
