What's happened to Photshop 2020?

All of a sudden my Adobe Photoshop 2020 is different. I noticed several things different but the worst thing is importing presets has changed.  The usual way I get my imports is no longer working.  So all my brushes and all my styles are missing.  What is going on?

Did you ever save your presets? (Brushes as abr-files, Actions as atn-files etc.) 

If not and they only existed as preferences then they may have been lost due to random file corruption.

Which Presets were you talking about specifically and how are they loading differently now? 

What is the version you were using previouly?

My brushes and my patterns were not where they were supposed to be but I've found them and I am making sure they are safe.  I have collected quite a bit of presets and was worried they were lost. There are styles, textures, gradients, etc.   I have them now.

I hope I don't run into any trouble by not using Windows 10, as I see I cannot update with Windows 7.  I like Windows 7 and don't plan on changing.
