Where has the auto-select feature been moved?

Hi All, I've updated my photoshop and with the new version I can't seem to find the auto-selection tool. Can anyone tell me where it is and how to turn it back on? There used to be a checkbox for auto-select when you were in the move tool. Now it's missing. Not having it is really slowing me down.

Apparently you are using

Photoshop > Preferences > Workspace > Enable Narrow Options Bar

and it seems you have Auto-select enabled anyway.

I actually do have the narrow options bar enabled but I still don't see an auto-select checkbox.

I don't beleive my auto-selection tool is enabled because I'm not able to quickly select layers automatically the way I once was able to.
