Hello friends, while doing Action in Photoshop, Photoshop stops working after a while. What is the reason? While the action continues, sometimes it stops for a short time and sometimes it stops for a long time. May you help me to solve this issue?

Please read this (in particular the section titled "Supply pertinent information for more timely and effective answers”):

What does the Action do?
At which step/s do the hangs occur or are they utterly random?
Please provide the Action or a screenshot of the fully expanded Action in the Actions Panel.
Is the image especially large? Are multiple images open? How are you set up for RAM, what are the performance related Photoshop Preferences settings?

Hi, I am thankfull to you.
The Action is about crop, filter, light etc...
It starts to work and a while run but then sudennly stops. It doesn't sistematiclly or at same time, just randomly.
I will add action screenshot for action and performance of Photoshop.
All images have 4000 px X 6000 px. Images not multiple open. I always dont put all images in photoshop ı get it from file one by one. Also ıt use all one by one.
See you,
Ömer

Is there any »pattern« to the lagging? At Filters, Adjustments, …?
Performance-wise you might want to reduce the RAM-attribution below 100% and, if possible, reduce the History States.

There is no pattern, it is a random situation. Photoshop stops working and does not allow any operations.
I have to turn photoshop off and on using task manager every time.
It repeated the same error when I ran it with low performance before.

What have you done for all-purpose trouble-shooting so far?
Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:

Can you provide one of the files and the atn-file?

Please provide the files via a service like wetransfer or similar.
In the case of inexplicable malfunctions I am afraid basic all-purpose trouble-shooting may be necessary. (see previous post)
Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences (Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?

Please provide the files via a service like wetransfer or similar: to your personal e-mail, or?
Also, Graphic Processor Settings are on not off. I should turn off it?

1) Please post the link here.
2) Please turn off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences (Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings) and restart Photoshop – does it perform more reliably? If not turn it back on and restart Photoshop.

When I get action I will try turn off Graphic Processor Settings and send you message.

In addition, what happens when you step through the action?
"To play a single step in an action, hold down your Control key on your keyboard and double-click on the step in the Actions panel."

Hello Jane,
I wanted to follow your instructions, but the program freezes when it stops. I cannot do anything with the keyboard or mouse.
