A heads up that you may run into monitor calibration issues with Windows 11 and PS - I use CaptureOne for my main editing platform and often go to PS (CC latest) for work that is best done there. I had to roll back my Win 11 upgrade to Win 10 as the images that looked great in C1 looked over saturated/uncalibrated when trying to edit those files in PS - this makes it IMPOSSIBLE to do any editing in PS from C1. This is a known issue - according to what I've seen online, Microsoft eliminated some code/routines that Adobe PS was using for calibration/color profiles. Haven't seen a fix yet and don't know if the issue persists with LR or other RAW editors, but from my experience if you're using the C1/PS workflow, don't update to Win 11 until this issue is resolved.

Yeah, this is a brand new computer that well exceeds the requirements in all areas - and works fine with Win10....and the known issues list doesn't really call this out, despite the fact that numerous people have seen this and the issue has been acknowledged by Adobe a few weeks ago.

Good info.
Any chance you've got a link to this so we can track it?

Yeah, that’s being reported a lot, very frustrating for early adopters of W11.
Photoshop call for display profile on Windows 11

There are several Win32 API functions to get monitor profiles, but among them, the GetICMProfile and EnumICMProfiles functions have a problem that does not work properly on Windows 11.
Photoshop seems to be using GetICMProfile in the Adobe Color Engine DLL. I guess that's why Photoshop can't get the correct profile of the monitor.
I am not sure about Capture One, but Affinity Photo uses the WcsGetDefaultColorProfile function, which works fine in Windows 11.
One tip that seems to help some users is to make sure HDR is off in Windows 11 to use your calibration settings.
I hope this helps
