Photoshop>camera raw there is no hotkey button for showing and or accessing the ratings and or filtering menu There is hotkeys for other buttons when you hover over them, even the filmstrip button has a hotkey, but not the sort by or filter by button
I just want an easy toggle between photos of different ratings like in bridge while being able to see settings applied.
Why to filter between photos within a folder with different lighting settings (star ratings) from the same event, while still being able to toggle between other star ratings in the linear order they captured in.
to edit photos within a folder with different desires of being kept or deleted marking lower ratings for photos with blur that i think i will delete, but may want to revisit during the workflow to compare to other images after some colouring has been applied. By toggling the filter by and show only, i can hide these photos from distracting me while i edit photos I think i would prefer to keep.
situation - On location -shooting photos at the same event and alternating between natural light and flash while shooting Post -Production - maintaining the liner workflow of seeing all the photos at the event captured in date order of date but then being able to filter by photos that have flash or natural lighting
and don't start with Bridge or lightroom, i came to Photoshop ideas panel... not lightrooms..... lightroom has an inferior user interface and terrible workflow by not creating sidecar files xmp acr makes file moving and sharing difficult and I will not use it
