Let us Export As jpgs at custom quality setting. Not 1 through 7.

I don't want my options for quality to be from 1 to 7.   We are grown up professionals using this software.   I want to be able to choose a detailed quality setting to reach a near-exact targeted file size.    If I want an image to be 50k, let me get it there.    You took this feature away a couple years ago and I assumed you'd get enough flack from the users that it'd come back, but I guess not.

    I don't know why it is so hard to offer more granularity like the old Save for Web, however, I believe this is tied to the underlying technology change from legacy CEP to UXP. Even Save As only has 12 levels. There may be some redundancy, where a value of 75% vs. 74% makes no practical difference. I'm not a programmer.

     

    I while back, I compared file sizes from Save As (12 levels), vs. an approximate Save for Web % value vs. Export As. Removing metadata from the Save As version brings the file sizes closer together:
