Magnify the cursor area on-the-fly at pixel level when using a tool

When setting a point precisely, e.g. using the "Perspective Crop tool" or "Pencil tool" - it would be great to have the cursor area magnified on-the-fly at pixel level so it is easy to see where to click.

Snag-IT uses this feature when making screen captures and you are actually able to nudge pixel direction using the arrow-keys before doing the selection (see picture).

That would be awesome to have in Photoshop and Lightroom.
