P: Hex Code Pasting into the Color Picker Input Box -- Please Allow the '#' Symbol

...Please allow the '#' symbol to get pasted into the color picker hex input box. Many external color picker tools, such as, the Mac DigitalColor Meter, automatically add the '#' when copying the hex code and Photoshop won't let me paste it into the input box unless I first paste it to the document workspace as text, remove the '#', recopy and then paste it into the color picker hex input box. This would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. - Jon Nutting -

In Photoshop CS6, you can paste hex colors including one preceded with # symbol as well as 3 digit hex shortcuts (e.g. '123')

Thank you for checking into this Chris. I know a couple other designers who have been frustrated with this as well. It seems like it would be an easy fix...The input box may need to be extended to support another character input, and then in the code, have an if-then statement to strip out the '#' if it exists. Thanks.

Hmm, I thought we had a previous request for that, but I can't find it.
