The new Photoshop 2024 changes how gradients work, and while most of the changes are great, the "reverse" check box is a TERRIBLE implementation. In old gradients, the color picker controlled the direction of a gradient. If white was the foreground color and black was the background color, you'd draw a gradient from white to black. If you wanted a different direction, you'd just hit the X key on the keyboard and voila, your gradient behaves as you want it to. Now I have to navigate up to the "reverse" check box every damn time I want to swap it. WHY would this be a helpful change?! There was nothing wrong with the old functionality. This ONLY adds an extra step.
PLEASE get rid of the dumb "reverse" check box and restore the old way it worked. Even in "classic gradient" mode it's still messed up. Ugh.
