Save metadata to video file

You provide the ability to save metadata (tags) to a file but do not provide ability to do so for video, why???

This would be great as i wanted to import my files into a new catalog and bring the tags along with it.

Different file formats may or may not support various metadata entries .It's what the file format will allow, not Photoshop or any other program. Image formats are generally more accommodating of metadata than video formats.

I can add tag data in file Explorer it seems

Again, depending on format. Windows can store metadata as part of the filesystem but it may not be retained if you move those files to another computer.
