We need a MORE PRECISE SLIDER for exporting jpg quality

The slider only has 7 steps of quality.  I want it to have 100 steps (like it used to have a few years ago). 

Why?    I need to export images at a specific file size for my online ads.   The large jumps in quality and files size with the 7-step slider don't give me the precision that I need.   Everything else in Photoshop gives me precise control.... down to the pixel.   So why not also make the "export as" jpg have precision?   

And please do NOT refer me to "Save for web (legacy)".   We don't want to go backward.   This simply needs to be standard.
