PS timeline scaling question

If a SO is used in the PS timeline the Transform option is available. If an image is scaled, is there any way to tell what % the scaling is? The only readout I can find in the toolbar is for the % of the original placement of the SO, not the transformed number.

I'm puzzled, surely the % of the original (untransformed) SO is the scaling applied. The keyframe in the timeline just control any changes to that scaling over time.

If you want it to always start with a value of 100% in the timeline then you would need to nest the transformed SO within another untransformed SO

The % shown in the toolbar is the scaling of the SO when originally placed. If I scale later in the timeline that % shown is still the orignal number. I want to find out what I scaled it to in the timeline.
