Hi,

I use Elements 12 and cannot open any files because I received an error message "Could not import the clipboard because an unexpected end-of-file was encountered."

how does this get fixed??

Correct answer MichelBParis

I've uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop Elements. I've reset the settings.

What can I do? I've used the clipboard thousands of times and suddenly this error comes up. I Googled the error message and it comes up as a common issue, but there doesn't seem to be an actual fix posted anywhere.

Actually the entire program seems to be running slower as well. I just tried opening a picture and now I get... "Could not complete your request because of a problem parsing JPEG Data"

I can open the photo with microsoft and paint.

I haven't noticed any issue with any of my other programs on my computer, just PhotoShop Elements has broken down.

You have updated Windows 10 recently to (1803)?

Then you have been hit by the Microsoft bug:  see the explanation and solution:

Error: An integer between 50 and 8 is required | Elements | Windows 10

I have the same issue. Has worked fine up until now. I've tried the fixes I have found online and still not working. Very annoying, any one have an answer for this?
