Resize Image. Ticking resample does not give the option of Pixel size in the Image resize box. I did have the option but it is not there now, could this have anything to do with Window updates.

Can't you simply enter your new (pixel) dimensions in the boxes below "Pixel dimensions"?

Anyhow, the answer to the question is no. A Windows update does not take away any program options. That can be done only with a program update. The only exception to this are Microsoft standard programs that come with Windows and Windows generated dialogue boxes. They can change with a Windows update.

Hold down the Alt key and your Cancel button will change to Reset. Click on Reset to see if it restores your Pixels option.

This is not Photoshop, but Photoshop Elements which is different. I have moved your question to that forum.

The drop-down menu you are opening is to set the width dimension in your chosen unit (in, cm, mm...)

Just change the dimensions in the upper part which is dedicated to pixels.

Additional info: I do not think that this is caused by a Windows update!
