Photo Elements 2019

Help needed please:  Using Photo Elements 2019, I have just downloaded it on to my system. I am using MacOS Catalina.

 

 

PE 2019 opens and get a Home Screen. I click on Photo Editor but nothing happens after about 30 seconds. It doesn't load. I am a long time PhotoShop user but decided to use Photo Elements on my retirement.

 

I need access to my images on my desktop to edit them, at the moment this doesn't seem possible.  Grateful for help please, thanks.

    Once a new version of Photoshop Elements is released, there is rarely, if ever, any updates to the older versions.

    As Test_Screen_Name said, your only option is to use PSE on Catalina is PSE 2020.

    There is no 64 bit version of PSE 2019 compatible with Catalina.

    The update is Photoshop Elements 2020. Available at 20% discount on the full price, I hear.

    This I tried, but PSE is not listed and when I select „I don‘t see my product“ comes the answer „ We didn't find a current paid product in your account.“. But when I check my account there are PSE 2019, and many older versions of PSE. Seem so that no Support for PSE is possible. Is there another way to get a 64Bit Version of PSE 2019?

    Unfortunately there ist no Support for PSE at least no eMail or form.
