Upload pictures to folders

I bought a Mac I also purchased Photoshop elements. I have a old windows version that catalogs by date created. How do I do thi an Mac? I have tried and am so disappointed in this version.

I know very little about Macs, but the Windows and Mac versions of Elements work in pretty much the same way.  Telling us that you are disappointed doesn't give us a clue as to what problems you are having or how we can help you.
