Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 has stopped working

recently I have purchased the CC2018. When I use the cropping tool shortly afterward PS crashes and I get a window reading "Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 has stopped working". has anybody a solution?

Check to see if you have the latest Device driver for you display adapter installed.

You display adapter device driver is at fault.  Searh Nvidia site fo a newer one.

Thanks for replying. I did upgraded the driver after reading your post. The new one is 23.21.13.9135 from 3.23.2018. However, I'm still having the crash. This is a new report.

I do not see any problem in your system info.


You are right, and the strangest thing is the crash doesn't show up in the reliability history. I didn't mention I was having troubles with a Wacom Intuos tablet because I wouldn't think that could be the cause of crashing PS. I was using the wrong driver for it and I just updated it. I will post later if I had this was the cause, or I'm still having the issue.

Your GPU driver is causing the crashes "nvoglv64.dll" is a component of your Nvidia video card driver.

Try uninstalling and re-installing the GPU driver, also make sure you have the latest driver installed
